The wife of County Treasurer Johnson died last week.

Mrs. F.N. Johnson, wife of the county treasurer, died on Tuesday morning after an illness of several years of spinal disease. She had been a great sufferer for a long time. She left two children, boys 10 and 3 years of age. Deceased was a daughter of JY Durham was born in Boyd County Ky and was 30 years of age lacking one day. The body was taken to the ME Cemetery at Waveland for interment the services being conducted by Elder Vancleave. The county officials attended the funeral in body and acted as pall bearers. Mrs. Johnson was an estimable lady and her death is mourned by a large circle of friends.
